This family portrait session has been years in the making. Hope & David (Instagram: @hope.truax.photography) have been wanting to have children for quite a while. However, nature had another plan for them. After much frustration, they finally turned their focus to adoption. Hope’s thought was that there are plenty of children around the world who need a loving family environment, so why not share the love that they could give. Again, after several disappointments, the adoption agency called them out of the blue. A newborn baby girl, just a couple of days old, needed a home. And 10 months later, they’ve learned the joys and challenges of raising a little girl. But there is not any lack of love between these three. This beautiful girl is thriving under the care of these new parents and proving that you don’t have to be blood related to become daddy’s little girl.
