Welcome to the new Photography by Kristina! For those who have followed my work for the many years as Studio K Photography, thank you very much. I appreciate all the support you have shown and I hope you continue to enjoy my work as I transition into this new phase.
So why the change, you ask? For years I have been wanting to get away from the Studio K name because I don't have a studio and I probably never will. As a natural light photographer, I view the beautiful world as my studio. I love to photograph people in nature without the glare of studio lights. Plus I felt like I was limiting my photography to a specific genre. In reality, I started off as a landscape and nature photographer and gradually incorporated the human element into my work. Therefore it seemed appropriate to change my business name to simply Photography by Kristina in order to encompass all styles of photography from portraits to landscape to more artistic works.
Plus I felt like the business side of things was getting too complicated. I like things straight to the point, raw and simple without a lot of superfluous details. I think that tends to come across in my photography. And I really want to keep my business that way as well - simple and to the point. Because let's face it, we are all so busy these days that we don't have much time to spare. So streamlining things for both you as a client and me as a business owner seemed the best way to go.
So take a look around and let me know what you think.
'til next time,
Kristina
